Springfield’s only 4th of July Parade will be held in the Midtown neighborhood this Friday at 10:00am. Consider coming out to watch the floats, bands, etc., and stay after for festivities in historic Washington Park, where there will be free ice cream and soda. For a map of the parade route, visit and click on the pic of the American Flag.

Various local baseball teams were there and as always the Father-Son combo with the …

The Men’s golf team may be adding 2 additional tournaments to its fall schedule beginning in 2008. This can have a huge benefit in their national rankings as their limited fall schedule penalizes them in the rankings of other NAIA programs. Last season the Crusaders were ranked as high as 26th nationally before falling dramatically due entirely to inactivity. So let’s hope this helps the mens golf team continue to rise among the country’s respected collegiate golf programs.

Although this still holds true for some credit unions, many credit unions are open to the public, including CU Community Credit Union. As long as you live or work near Springfield, MO …
