Guns v. Hoses Game for charity

Posted by drudown on June 19th, 2008

This Saturday at 7 pm is the third annual Guns vs. Hoses Charity Basketball Game to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks in the Evangel University gym. Tickets are only $5, so come out and cheer for our local police and firefighter departments. There will be raffle prizes and a dunk contest at halftime. Special shout-out to my good friend Officer Tauai.

How did the basketball game turnout? Was it a successful event? It seems like a fun time.

The game was a fun time. There was a good turnout so hopefully Big Brothers Big Sisters will reap the benefits. The Police Dept. sold more tix for the raffle so the Fire Dept. had to wear skirts pre-game!! (And Officer Tauai won the dunk contest against competitors like MSU’s Drew Richards and Dex Manswell.)
